Belle Haven, Virginia, a tiny but quaint and culturally diverse community of about 1,050 residents. It is located along Virginia's Eastern Shore and across the bay from famed Chincoteague Island, a few hours drive from cities like Washington, Richmond, or Baltimore. This Colonial community enjoys nature to its fullest, with various marinas nearby, and plenty of fishing, boating, swimming, and other water recreation options.

The typical home is a single-family home of three or four bedrooms, built some time between the 1960s and 1980s. Wedged between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean on the Eastern Shore, this community offers tree-lined streets, vast parklands, and beautiful beachfront. The Eastern Shore has a variety of shopping centers, and some excellent restaurants, especially for locally plentiful seafood.

The region is mostly home to families with children, and some retirees. As such, if offers residents a quiet life with fresh, clean air, quality K-12 schools, and virtually no crime.

The Eastern Shore's picturesque beauty and history draw thousands of visitors from around the world each year. Aside from the nature sites, visitors and residents alike can enjoy historic monuments and sites dating back to the Revolutionary and Civil wars.
